Our organization encourages expanded local participation in all forms of the arts - fine arts, music, dance, theater, and public art.
Since 1998, The Arts of Kenmore has produced the annual June Kenmore Art Show, currently located at Bastyr University. Local artists have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work. This show has grown in scope each successive year. Between 500-700 pieces of art are entered each year. For more information on our Kenmore Art Show, click here.
The Kenmore City Hall Art Gallery is managed by The Arts of Kenmore. The Gallery, curated by board member Sarah Hayashi, provides four to five exhibits each year displaying works from local artists. One exhibit each year is dedicated to our local youth art. Art from this show may be purchased through the Arts of Kenmore, for more information click here.
The Arts of Kenmore provides grant awards annually to Kenmore area schools, Inglemoor HS, Kenmore JH, Moorlands Elementary, Arrowhead Elementary, Kenmore Elementary, and Lockwood Elementary. These grants go towards several areas of art including: music (band, orchestra, & choir), drama, and fine arts (all areas of visual arts & photography). For more information click here.
We have flats that are used at the art show for hanging art that can be rented by area organizations and schools. The Northshore PTSA uses these flats at their annual Reflections ceremony. Click here for more information on flat rentals.
