The Arts of Kenmore is pleased to offer the 2025 Kenmore Art Show. The 2025 theme is Joy. We are excited to bring artists and the community together to enjoy Photography, 2D, and 3D Artwork at Kenmore City Hall. August 15-17 & 22-24, 2025. Kenmore City Hall is located at 18120 68th AVE NE, Kenmore, WA 98028.
Awards
Each category will have 1st ($200), 2nd ($150) and 3rd ($100) prizes. There will also be a Best in Show ($300), People’s Choice ($200) and Mayor’s Purchase Award.
Kenmore Art Show (KAS) will feature three categories this year.
2D Artwork will include paintings, drawings, collages, scratch boards, prints, mixed media, etc. Giclee prints are not accepted. Gallery-wrap canvas must have edges finished (painted) and dry.
Photography may be black & white, monochrome or color. The image must be made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or captured digitally. All elements must be original and may not incorporate elements produced by anyone else. The photograph must represent a single image. Digital applications may be applied but not to the extent that the original appearance is drastically altered. Please identify the image source (film or digital).
3D Artwork may be created in any medium; metal, ceramic, glass, wood, paper, mixed, etc. The minimum size is 6″ X 6″ X 6″. The maximum dimensions are 30″ X 30″ X 30″. If entries exceed 50 pounds, the artist must place, remove and provide proper pedestals. Any applied paint must be fully dry.
Eligibility Criteria
Who can enter? Artists 16 years old and above are welcome.

We have a Special Drawing to thank you for entering early and submitting your application by June 1st. One early entry artist will be chosen to win: “Photograph Your Artwork Like a Pro”, a photo course from Sharon Gottula Studios.

OUR JURORS

Mike O’Day has enjoyed working as a caricature artist, illustrator, painter, computer graphics artist, printmaker and ceramic artist for forty years. For the last twenty plus years, he has focused his work primarily on ceramic sculpture. His award-winning artwork has been shown in galleries from Seattle to Spokane, and his outdoor sculptures reside in countless gardens throughout the Pacific Northwest. He has created group projects with children at numerous schools and currently shares a ceramic studio at Graphite Arts Center in downtown Edmonds.
Michael Sladek began his photography journey in 1979 with a Pentax K1000 and a roll of black & white film. He has taught photography at Highline College since 2011 and also is the Social Media Manager at Kenmore Camera. He enjoys street, nature and travel photography and shares about his photography experiences on YouTube.
